1. the 8647 charges will be tossed on motion just as soon as the USDC faces the issue.

2. the charges for lying to Congress will never go anywhere. although Comey lied to Grassley the statute has run. Comey was ready, willing, and able to lie under oath to Cruz but Cruz couldn't shut his fat mouth and ask the question cleanly. Cruz should have just read the Q and A with Grassley and asked, "was your testimony truthful or false?"

3. as for the possible new charges, there is no doubt that Comey leaked to the NYT. he admits it. the key question is whether the material was classified. in the Mar-a-Lago case the 11th Circuit schooled Judge Cannon and said that the government designation determines whether the material was classified. i need to know more about these new charges to see if they have merit.

the most important thing, by far, is for Trump to relentlessly declassify all these documents about the lawfare campaign. let the truth come out.
