Date: August 2nd, 2024 12:27 PM Author: spectacular institution i'm not thranths, guis, stoooop haha creative scene is pretty oversaturated and hard to break into, from what i'm told. i've been writing more poems lately and would be pretty happy if i can break even with submission fees someday. novels seem like a huge risk in terms of time sunk v. success and i'm not enthusiastic about the form. i'm overly verbose by nature but shouldn't give into that impulse entirely. |

fwiw i really loved arx han's debut novel "incel" which was independently published. he couldn't get published through traditional routes because incels aren't a favored topic among our elites
