Things in favor:
1. A few months before the BTC white paper his wife livejournaled that they were interested in crypto systems that can’t be broken even with all the computational power in the universe which is similar to some wording at the end of the white paper.
2. Sassaman tweeted that he’s worked with Hal Finney in the past (the recipient of the first btc transaction and widely thought by many others to be the next satoshi)
3. Sassaman committed suicide a few months after the Satoshi Bitcoin talk account went silent.
