"bibi moved"="bibi cajoled the premier UNSC state to recognize jerusalem as the capital of israel". after the formal recognition from the US netanyahu had leeway to move more admin functions to jerusalem from tel aviv. as i understand it this is controverial amongst israelis as tel aviv is seen as the more liberal and cosmopolitan city amongst the two and it has a history of consistently being a wellspring of left wing/liberal political activism in israeli politics |
