Giannis famously hates playing like a true center, he wants to be the point guard which I'm sure is why he put Miami on his list of teams he would waive his no trade clause for. He likes putting up assists so he's always in MVP contention and a stat monster.
Miami can easily piece together some league average guards and wings around them. Finding a PG who can score 15-20 points a night with 5 assists is trivially easy. This team should be offensive monsters with great rim protection that create a mismatch every time they go out there. It will be brutal defending two elite bigs. The rest of the roster can be totally lackluster and Miami will be a top 3 team in the East every year. This roster basically guarantees at least one Finals appearance in the next three years.
It's going to be lob city with ball dominant Giannis and Bam in the low post. |

They didnt really lose anything, if they can get 1 more big to cycle through in case of injuries and to keep minutes decent for bam and greekfreak they will run through knigs
honestly if they can get a cheap veteran 3 point shooter like ray allen and antoine walker like in previous runs it could be 180
only West teams can match with them and they have Portis off the bench who they can turn into other pieces
Powell is underrated and i think they kept Jovic who might grow a dick soon |

The NBA under the current CBA is a revolving door of different champions. Seems like every dog will have their day. Basically any one franchise getting to two titles in this CBA almost requires a complete rebuild at this point. We essentially seen so many teams win 1 and look like the party will never end and two seasons of failure later they're back to square one. This puts Miami back in the conversation and knock on wood the stars will align for them one year the way they have for everybody else.
