I'm pretty sure Merc have basically said they're sticking with Bottas. They like him because he's pretty fast in his own right (and should have won at Baku this year) and fine playing second fiddle to Hamilton.
Red Bull basically already have the best chassis. They're just been hamstrung by their shitty Renault engine, but they're moving over to Honda next year. I honestly think Red Bull is his best option still. |
