got bad grades at a T14, got MFH Biglaw anyway, gave it up for BIGLAW in Russia, where he got laid off in 2009.

ok, fine, the plan. tmf got a doc review manager job after being unemployed for a while. he spins this "experience" to other firms and in-house positions and claims to have been on multiple interviews with firms and companies. by his own admission he has never had a call back interview but is very confident that he'll be hired as a partner track midlevel--essentially having lost no seniority to his time out of biglaw--in the near future.
