i feel like i don't really have a sense of what i'll be doing at all. I really fucked off in 1L, got subpar grades, i should at least have a better knowledge of the UCC/contracts. It is relevant to some extent.

Several TTTs/TTTTs do this or focus their 1L courses on state law, since very few grads will practice outside that state. Honestly, it probably gives them a leg up on the bar.

Some TTTs (there is no such thing as a TTTT) are basically 3 year bar prep courses. See Cooley.

It's a rancid, TTT thing to do. Anyone of minimal intelligence can pass the bar with 3-4 disciplined weeks of study.

I haven't touched a fucking litigation class since then; every single elective I took was business or corporate focused and of course that's very lightly tested on the bar. But yeah of course I need to know the fucking rules of evidence to practice as a corporate transactional attorney. fuck the bar,

I feel the same way. I tried to take "relevant" courses or shit that seemed interesting or what I might want to practice, then 3L year I realized that I should have been taking all of those uncurved "Feminism & the Law" and "Water Rights Law," and "International Sphincter Law" seminars that only require you to write one 25-page paper and pad your GPA.
