Is the work complex or simple? The hours requirement is pretty high for $45K; but, if the work is almost administrative in nature, then it may not be as horrible (still bad nonetheless).

yea. even if they only bill you at 100 (unlikely) and you Bill 40 a week (you said u work fifty plus a week) they make 200k on you. they can definitely afford to pay you more. otoh, if quality of work and their training to you doesn't matter much then they don't need to pay u more cuz there's plenty of worthless attys willing to work for 45k
