No rivals in HS. The smartest girl seems primed to go to a decent med program. The smartest guy went to my school (BIGSTATEU) and is studying a good engineering, so at least he'll have a job. A lot of the other people in the top 10% are studying CS but at TTT schools. |

Lesser rivals went to a mid-tier med school and Stanford GSB. Latter case isn't fair because her wealthy parents greased the skids. True to form she utterly failed to take advantage of GSB and almost got no-offered. (class of '09) |

All the smart kids also were sad, just cause most of them were AZN and MASSIVELY under performed. A lot ended up back in my shit suburb, married to some bitch from HS. It is like they never wanted HS to end. It was sad as fuck.
Even the doods who went to HYPS and shit didnt do shit really all things considered.

I am indeed the worst poaster on this shatboard, and my paternalistic tone in conjunction with under-reaching sentence structure will leave you strangely self-satisfied yet wanting more. When you come to your senses, you will realize I am complete shithead who often makes the most unoriginal and bland poasts in an entire 100+ thread.
Despite this, if we are being FAER then it must be said that while I truly did not understand the hatred towards xoxo women or Box/NLH in particular, I now see how her self-absorbed oversharing takes away from the author's original intents and hopes for the thread, thereby generating a massive amount of resentment. The combination of passive aggressive ("have you ever read this board?" .. "unlike you, apparently" .. "premise was silly") and victimized ("people always talk about [it]" .. 1) guy who made fun of me on the bus for no reason -> developed rare form of disease and died within months a couple years ago. I smiled when I heard the news
2) various popular religious jocks/brown-nosers/annoying proselytzers ---> most are head of some youth group somewhere or doing something with audio at a church; a few are teachers at religious schools.
3) me -> TTTT undergrad (barely above CC) -> T20 -> regional biglaw |

Dude #2--Went to a TTT state university and majored in some crappy major (think communications). Is now seeking to become a sports agent. He was pretty close with Dude #1. I think Dude #1 led Dude #2 to believe that he (Dude #1) had contacts with major sporting programs. The guy is now a high school assistant football coach and working at his parent's business.
Dude #3 (intellectual equal)--Came out the closet, family disowned him, and now DJs at night clubs. He was voted to be most successful in our high school year book. |

2) Valedictorian and near perfect SAT, went to a service academy and is now a military engineer. His current gf is about a 5.5 but a good match for him. He seems happy.
3) Underachieving but smart and hot girl in high school, went to the state flagship and developed a nasty coke habit. She also drank like a fish and gained 40-50 extra lbs. Spoke to her a year ago and she told me all the sad shit that happened to her over the past 8 years. She felt like she was on the right track again because she decided to devote her life to Christian ministry.

2. Popular, well-liked kid. Not captain of anything though. Another valedictorian. Went to T1 law school. Summered and got offer at midlaw firm; probably started him at 90.
3. A couple other chicks who I don't think did anything to magical. One is married to your standard almost kinda attractive guy. You know the type: dresses pretty well, is only kinda overweight, and sort of has that clean cut look.
Me: Went to T1 law school. Pwned, had a great time. A3 clerkship is prestigious district. Now at premiere litigation firm making decent money. In a relationship with an objective 8. Next reunion is next year. Very excited. |
