Well, then, fuck. Any other ideas? Want to commute to Manhattan but don't want to pay Manhattan prices to live in an old shoebox with roaches and a window AC unit. But if I lived in Bushwick I'd probably get stabbed once per week.

anything and everything on the L is now overrated and overpriced. not worth it to live in Bushwick or East New York for those prices. might as well live in Jackson Hts, Sunset Park, or Woodside for less money and less crime.

Yeah I'm looking at places now. I haven't physically looked so I'm guessing they are bigger than manhattan, but they're definitely more expensive than the UES.

dumbo is expensive as fuck. try park slope, prospect heights, clinton hill, fort greene, carroll gardens. better value in these neighborhoods.
