even *if* a bunch of lazy as shit relatively high-talent kids get 172's from drilling LSAT logic games for 3 months, that nowhere near approaches even the amount of practical knowledge alone you'd have to store to get a 34 MCAT (let alone promises the same amount of innate genius)

It's one thing for the MCAT to take much more effort to prepare for than the LSAT (years of science courses vs. nothing), and quite another for it to be more rigorous.
I don't think it's appropriate to adjust for effort when comparing scores. |

i do think lsat tends to show "innate iq" (lol) more prevalently as an empirical matter of fact, but that's bc more smart lazy ass kids take lsats and get 174+ while not learning anything useful ever. while mcat reflects however derivatively some science facts. |

also the pool of test takers is significantly more intelligent which is why a 30 (75% percentile) is more difficult to attain than a 171 or so. |

mcat has real scientific knowledge on it, and tests for med school aptitude, even if it is not exactly a mini-usmle, bc real lives are at stake and medical profession isn't a clowning joke like legal is. |

You also confuse the number of people taking the mcat with the number of people admitted to med school. Just because it is harder to get into med school than ls doesnt deter dumbs from taking the prereq exam for med school. |

The thing is, the MCAT is based in part on at least 8 semesters (plus labs) of hard sciences classes. So a ton of the material on the MCAT is substantive. But even given that, the so-called logic bs on the test is at least as hard or harder than the LSAT. |
