What percentage of each class can get Biglaw today?

Something like

HYS - 90+%

C - 65%

G - 45%

Campos puts Colombia at 65%, NYU at 53%, GULC at 41% for biglaw + reasonably acceptable alternatives.

That's class of 2011, bro. The lost generation. The latest NLJ250 rankings had Columbia at ~80%

Edit: wow, guess not. Then again harvard doesn't look too hot either.

You are right. I wasn't aware that things had improved so substantially.

Edit: I tend to think a lot of those HLS folks found acceptable alternatives to biglaw though. Doubt that's true for CLS.

Are a significant number of H people not able to get biglaw? Is that true even for Y and S? To my knowledge, even Campos has not gone after HYS (although he has repeatedly hammered Columbia and NYU).

I don't think c/o '13 at any of these schools had problems getting biglaw SAs this year. But for those who missed the bus, they are often fucked and I doubt the lost generation at harvard faired a great deal better than those at CLS. Though, they probably faired a bit better as HLSer always have over CLS, given the massive number of HLS kids that missed out many had to be screwed. Y&S are different animals due to the small classes.
