I mean, I like to think of myself as a really stand up-dude. You know, once you reach a certain level of intellectual prowess you realize "hah....how silly of me to even take the common man seriously. He is to me what a dog is to him. I should be more patient and realize he can't control his stupid behavior". I mean really though, it's sobering. I don't ask people to realize that i'm really smart or capable of making a big impact on the world, even though i know most of them do.
I think as a 145+ IQ person you kind of have to take it upon yourself to guide other lesser people.

Yeah. And that's okay because after a certain level you realize that the whole rat race is just a sham and are able to live comfortably on your own terms. It's really pacifying to see things from up higher, to look at how obsessed people are with careers and money and be like "lol...if only they knew".
A simple life gives me more time to focus on my work in my free time, work that I know could make a huge impact on the world if appreciated by society, but that could equally go unnoticed. That's okay though...society doesn't always appreciate innovations until after their originators are gone. It's just something you have to come to terms with.
