Have you done the math on your debt repayment? I wouldn't take any of these options. Your best-case scenario will allow you to pay off $40k a year. HLS may be the only school worth sticker. But you're still going to hate your life in biglaw at some point and wish you could quit...but you won't be able to.

Yea with GPA stip very low. 3.0 min maintain. But COL I guess maybe 20k a year in Westwood + unsubsidized interest. I do have 15k in a 401k from working 2 years post UG that I could use but I'm not sure if that's wise to touch.

Fuck that- tell them 2.0/In good standing or no deal. Stipulations are bullshit for TTT schools to trick kids. 10-20% of the class is probably beneath a 3.0 after 1L year.

Should I def rule out NYU? TLS said 80% of the c/o 2013 got an offer from 2011 EIW with 92% participating. Plus it's in the sickest part of the city.

NO school of any kind (including medical, etc.) is worth 270k. by the time you start repaying loans it will be 300k+.

Tell Harvard that you can't afford to pay that much and will go to NYU instead. See if they will close the gap. H might be worth an extra $40k. More if you aren't set on grinding BIGLAW (want to clerk, teach, etc.).

Also, if not set on NYC, maybe see if you can leverage a better offer from UChi. Cheaper COL and slightly better placement. Mention NYU's lack of rigor.
