sharon definitely did a great job picking this class
that said, they really need to SLOW THE FUCK DOWN and do a abtetter job checkoing their work,
it's easy to sacrificie good work for sppeeed, but that's not what we want.
i understand the temptation and have dfefintely been there b4.
but overall, we are very happy with the summers na glad athat they are here-- I do NOT want do turn changes...... |

I was asking more about when you go to the summer events, e.g., bars and shit. I know some associates get out to a lot. Is that political or just for free drinks, food, etc.? |

there are defintely a group of us assoicates who go out a lot iwth summers (and indepenetly in the fall/spring) but that's just cuz we like to get fucked up-- not out of any networkking/bs reason.
i literally know nothing about lit, but i can assume htat summers are good for doc review.

i absolutely do ont seek work out at all-- nor does any of my class. we hagve an asssigned coordinator nad she takes care of all that stuff. i never worrty about my hours or assignments since i cna put lal the liability on the assigning coordinator. |

he says that the big mistake in thinking about law firms is on a 1-2 year time scale. dpw is thinking more along the lins of 7-10 yrs. so one "larger" summer class does'nt mean too much |
