They add up to 10 points. Lakin said there is no such thing as a 10 essay in NY on the real exam, that it's hypothetical. Also, some of BARBRI's answers just copy and paste UCC sections as rule statements....

alright. so if my rule statement is like 1/2 as thorough as BarBri's, should i assume i'll still get close to full points on the real thing?

and is barbri just designed to scare the shit out of us?

Brah, you get a half a point just for an issue statement alone, and there's 3, and you'll get 2/3 of a point for every analysis even if it's based on made up law. So you've basically got 4 points just there.

Are you submitting the graded ones? What are you getting on the graded ones?

FWIW, if you look at the site, apparently all of the mandatory graded ones have averaged at a 3.5. I don't now how the fuck people are managing to get 3.5 on those stupid things; I literally made up ALL of the law on one of them and got a 6 and I'm dumb as a box of rocks.

yes, they are flame. just do get 150+ on the mbe and it's virtually impossible to fail the essays.
