Nope, what you say is pretty much true. CUs do offer student loans though, but you're unlikely to get anything less than 5% either way. I'd say just go government so you can IBR it, but since you're not going to law school, you probably won't need IBR.

I can't imagine the gravy train is going to last long so take what you can while you can. Just like they shut down the bankruptcy gravy train (ask the MDs), they'll do the same thing to IBR.
