If I had an offer at a good place then why would I not just take it? I did have a few conversations where salary was too low and I was like "NNN".
The trouble with ITE is that unlike pre-ITE where an unsuccessful interview meant that disaster struck at some point, ITE I've had a ton of legit GREAT interviews that didn't result in an offer. Which, I guess is the most demoralizing thing of all.

Not at all. I know when people hate me. But I can keep the "vats" and "no u" remarks under control for 30 minute interviews. Like sure, a few weeks after hiring me they would be like "aw man, wtf did we do" after I'm arguing with my secretary about her nail polish but you know, that's not what we're talking about here.
