While I think the MBE questions are hard, most of them still seem to be fairly reasonable. However, these essays are just flame for 2 reasons:

First, they tend to test nuances that are not only not present in lectures but not even present in CMR, perahps they exist in giant book.

Second, they tend to have issues which can be adequately answered in 3-4 sentences but the model answer turns into 2 pages by having 6 sentence rule explanation for the simplest of rules.

Anyone else feel this is flame?

What state? I thought they were pretty helpful for driving home the fact that in NY, you get points for saying as much correct shit as possible, even if it's not 100% on topic and would never be used in an actual legal argument.

I don't know dude. I'm scared as shit. I've been looking over state subjects in there, and the answers are crazy. Some of the issues aren't clearly either, at least with the barbri ones. I HOPE that the actual essays aren't so fucking vague.

Bro, they scared the SHIT out of me the last week. I did basically every essay for the past 10 years and like 50% of them had shit in there that wasn't in the lectures. I am scared as FUCK now
