Just got $32,000 NO STRINGS from KICKSTARTER

A month later I just got my deposit from funders of $32k after fees from Kickstarter and Amazon payments. (I raised MORE than my goal)
$32,000 just sitting in my account and I NEVER have to pay it back. In fact, you DO NOT pay it back. Even if I never start my project, I never have to pay the money back or do shit.
I never really thought anyone would actually help fund this, but the $1 - $50 donations just started flowing in.

Hence me worrying about this getting played out. But it seems this requires a polished and convincing presentation. Kind of like writing a good essay for a scholarship application, heh heh
Also keep in mind they may have some kind of rating system so if you have a bad track record that would hurt you. Try a manageable project first. |

I'm thinking some hippie-dippy "fund my travels to X third world beach country" and make a cheap documentary, photo essay, or just source a bunch of cheap handicrafts made by the natives. lot of these projects, search by country name and you'll see plenty of useless shit that got funded |

I'd use the extra to create an actual photolog, or hire a web dev to make a cool little blog or something and start my own Lonely Planet guide series. call it "Travel On Dat Cheap Tip" or something |
