starting biglaw. finance is unemployed, likely not getting a job in the near future. having actual wedding in 2014. any downsides to getting legally married for tax purposes?

u can claim her as a dependent for deductions, no? One of my bros lives with this one chick who after sexing it up with her, is refusing to pay rent and contribute anything at all. Now their relationship is disintegrating and I think he's moving away.
