For starters the fewer factory workers the fewer workers comp and SSDI cases. The fewer construction workers the fewer elevation cases. With self driving cars PI lawyers are pretty much all out of a job. In most state courts car accidents are 1/4 of the docket! No car accidents = 1/4 of all legal work GONE. Air bags already took a huge chunk of business away. Ask any old timer how much more money they were making pre-airbags. And automation means fewer mom and pops businesses around so the small time transactional lawyer is finished. Mom and pops will never be able to afford $250k robots. Increasingly small business is becoming a thing of the past. Monopolization means you need far fewer lawyers.
