another week later I asked about her summer plans, turns out she had an internship in the same city as I. but didn't feel like i knew well enough to get contacts so I didn't contact the entire summer (could've fb'd but she never personally told me her last name so I didn't want to suggest that I had searched her)
then postsummer, 2nd week of school, I ask her about her summer, we chat for a bit, she was responsive but since then (and like once or twice) she has avoided my gaze. I thought it was because I had been too pushy with her in our handful of postsummer convos but then a birdie told me she had linked herself to someone she met like 1st week of school. Haven't bothered with her since (but again it's not like I have many opportunities to even see her)
howTF do you approach randos and expect them to take you seriously (as in, not as someone who's just there 2F)
