Get a law reviewer's outline from a previous year for the same class and prof and study it until you know almost everything in it. I never did practice exams since most exams are from outer space and never look like previous years' exams.

This might work for torts since there is nothing to learn in torts, but for BLL classes like civ pro, tax, sec reg it won't work.

A good outline for most classes (excluding torts or con law) should be around 70 pages.

it is a study method brother, you don't move forward to a more concise draft without understanding the details left behind. this works especially well for the common law classes, and you're correct that it is more difficult for statutory classes - although i was able to do well w/ it in tax and corp tax

it works for everything. however, i think it is more important to do mad practice problems for BLL heavy classes

best advice: don't be like me and wait until 3 days before your first 1L law school exams to start studying (was possible in college, but not LS with the exception being certain 3L joke classes)

every former exam + answer from that professor you can possibly get your hands on, dissected with a serious study group and then discussed extensively with the professor

Explain how to do this when you have no model answers, and professors refuse to talk to you about exams.

you dont do it. flame is flame like always.

just fucking outline from the notes that you hopefully took throughout the semester. if you didn't, snag an outline from an upperclassmen. memorize the fuck out of it. take many practice exams. discuss these with reasonably intelligent classmates. go to exam and pour memorized outline onto exam under guise of analysis. and profit

that's about it. any more questions, pumo fuck?

it's still helpful to think through whether and why your answers are wrong or correct without the model answers.

find some smart people to review these exams with and talk it out. reviewing exams with no model answers is one of the few places where group studying is credited

don't be the fag that talks about their grades. regardless of how they turn out, just say you're happy and leave it at that.

making your own outlines is gay as fuck, cop those LR outlines from westlaw (my school posted them on westlaw, not sure about your school)

Memorize every rule statement to the point of not even having to think about them when typing them. Organize with CAPS and BOLD and UNDERLINED shit. I underestimated how lazy professors are and how they just look for shit jumpin off the pages.

Don't be wishy washy in your answers.

Memorize as much as you possibly can.
