BIGLAW and navy reserves. Doable?

Date: December 27th, 2012 6:30 PM Author: cream trailer park alpha Anyone have any experience with this? A reservist would have to do one weekend a month and two weeks a year of drilling. Basically all of their vacation time as a jr associate.
Do you think the firm would be okay with this? Easier to do as a first or second year than a fourth or fifth? You drill for 2 years then you stop the 2 week things. Trying to advise a buddy and I haven't the first clue, nobody at my firm does this that I am aware of but I'm sure its been done before. |

Joining the reserves communicates your desire to not give your employer 100%, and they are quick to pick up on that.

He also carefully selected a practice group with relatively more scheduling flexibility. |
