All things being equal I'd say that HBS is worth 1.2 attractiveness points over a respectable but non-flashy ug degree. So a 7 with HBS will just barely edge out an 8 with a big10 bachelor's in econ. With the other m7s it varies; honestly, some of them don't add anything (looking at you, "kellogg" at "northwestern" -- what a pantydropper!).
The thing is, though, it's never "all else being equal". If the m7 bro has a sick job and lots of $$$, that obviously gets him more points. Attractiveness, on the other hand, may be the single trait that most helps you regardless of what you do in life -- most of the prestige of hbs is gone when you go work for a regional car dealership in new jersey, but attractiveness applies no matter what. (Familial wealth and prestige is close competitor to attractiveness, and IQ is a distant third to those two.) |
