Some clients will essentially accept what you send them with only minor changes, whereas others demand massive revisions on a very tight timeline. Working for decent partners can help when you have a difficult client, but your lifestyle is still going to suffer.
The thing is, I've working for enormous corporations that have fallen into the first category, and high net-worth individuals who have fallen into the second. There's no real way for a 2L to tell during interviews which firms have the easiest clients, but after you've been in the industry for a while, you start to figure it out. |

Mentally ill means addicted to work, can't think outside of the box, or thinks that the $$$ is the only thing that matters in life, or all of the above.
I know someone who just developed multiple sclerosis cause he was working so much in biglaw - pretty sure he is mentally ill though. |
