did not eat a vegetable for fifty years

http://www.nytimes.com/1990/03/23/us/i-m-president-so-no-more-broccoli.html

''Like a big teen-age boy, unembarrassed by hunger,'' his former speechwriter Peggy Noonan wrote after watching Mr. Bush devour a plate of nachos in the White House mess.

His diet is similar to a teen-ager's, filled with cholesterol-laden goodies. ''Junk food is his lifestyle,'' said a former aide, Pete Teeley.

An Aficionado of Fast Food

The sort of food the President loves can be procured at baseball games, fast-food joints or 7-Elevens: beef jerky, nachos, tacos, guacamole, chile, refried beans, hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecued ribs, candy, popcorn, ice cream and cake.

Even when he eats something healthy, like yogurt or oat bran, he tries to spice it up with Butterfingers or something else to give it a little zip.

Ordinarily the President, who jogs regularly, can eat ''like a horse,'' as Mr. Teeley puts it, without its affecting his weight, 190 pounds, or his cholesterol level. But occasionally he eats so much that he gets a little queasy.

At other times, it's his guests who get queasy. The President had breakfast one Monday with John Elway, the Denver Broncos quarterback, who proceeded to miss that night's game. Coach Dan Reeves groused later that Mr. Bush had fed Denver's star player ''the worst-looking thing you can imagine: creamed chip beef.''

When you are RICH AS FUCK, then you can afford to eat like a pig occasionally.

you don't really need to micromanage your health if you exercise, maintain a normal weight, and get checkups. maintaining a normal weight alone is probably going to get you to an above average lifespan

i really think this is an example of the magical protective benefit of having a 'slender' build.

it seems like guys who are not merely a 'healthy weight,' but who are thin/lanky, never have health problems (despite egregiously unhealthy habits: poor diet, smoking, etc).

George W Bush is stocky, slightly paunchy, and just had a heart bypass.

spindly Noam Chomsky is still spry at 89 years of age.

Creamed beef or (SOS) is 180 as fuck. Can also be made with salmon. I prefer Honey Boy wild red Alaskan salmon in the can, but use whatever you have.

My grandfather coming up on 90. Never eats anything green. Has a Bismark every morning for breakfast, sometimes with fucking syrup on it. He eats everything burnt, including his steak. Drinks every night.

Over Thanksgiving I was out helping him build a new carport off his shop. Nobody else will willingly hang out with him because he is a world class asshole. I asked how he got the big ass transoms up and he pointed at his biceps. Loled at that.

My grandfather lived into his late 80s and smoked for 60 years. He ate whatever he wanted (including biscuits with syrup in the morning sometimes like you said), but he was always trim and would eat less of the same bad stuff if he felt that he was putting on weight. Died of natural causes in his sleep at home.

I really believe being active and having a health weight gets you 90% of the way to a healthy life.
