I'm steadfast that I don't want kids. Marriage is too shaky for me. I even refuse to buy a house for the same reason.

If marriage was stronger, would you want kids? Or just plain don't want them.

The former

I just hear from do many people that they r stuck in marriages because of kids. Given how tenuous my marriage is right now, seems unwise to have kids.

are you sticking it out because you want kids? or are you there just because you're there? are you doing anything to make it better or to get out?

Right now just here but trying to make it better. Prob keep trying for the next 6-9 months and then re-evaluate.

Marriages have ups and downs. If your woman is a good woman and you're committed to her, have children. There are immense rewards. Long game.

If she's an irredeemable cunt, leave. You know the answer to these questions.

What are these immense rewards?

She complains 24/7 and has a lot of bad habits. She has an anger issue.

Most women complain 24/7. Especially when you live with them. Not that this fact makes it any more tolerable.

Be the bigger man. Try to avoid whatever it is that sets her off. When she does go off, try not to let it escalate. Very hard. But possible.

You enter the room and it's the second coming. Like they thought you had gone away, forever, and lo, HE RETURNS! You're a hero, a protector, warmth, safety. You are not a man until you are a father. Full stop.

She will continue to complain and people don't change. She'll turn to other men or booze to medicate. Leave.

This is flame. Women all complain. They don't all turn into cheaters or alcoholics.

I'd try going on a trip. Leave your damn phones and laptops at home and see what happens.

Fucking trips never work. You still have to return to the day to day grind. And even the trips are often annoying because you just don't like the person you're spending time with.

Kids likely strengthened my marriage. But TBF, that's not the rule. Agree with prior poster that if she's good and you're committed, worth it, if no hope, not worth it. What is the primary cause of the shakiness?
