I currently use a Glock 26 but it's pretty chunky. Want something slimmer. Any ideas?

It's not about length but width. Glock 26 is same width as 17. Glocks are some of the chunkiest pistols. So it looks like you have a side tumor unless you wear a loose shirt or a jacket.

a small .38 revolver with a shrouded hammer is tcr for concealed carry. They are small, thin, won't catch on your pants when you draw, and unlike autos you can actually fire from inside your pocket

although not sure about wisdom of pocket carry (i know this is a thing with snubbies just seems like an accident waiting to happen).

go-to is G27 (same outside dimensions as OP's 26, just chambered in .40SW and with 1 less magazine capacity). not tiny to conceal, but small enough for my size with casual dress. Big enough to feel like I have a REAL gun if I ever needed to use it. It's a little bulldog, especially with heavy for caliber 180gr Speer Gold Dots.

a gun is good at times, i guess. but if i was in a mind to kill/disable, i would slit your jugular with my HAK knife in my belt line before you even thought about drawing a gun.
