BIGLAW has made me so fucking ugly

Today I wore a button collar dress shirt from Costco w/ no belt. I'm stressed all the time. I'm conditioned to believe that I should be billing all the time, wknds nonstop.
I'm stressed/afraid to take dec 21 to jan 1 off for fear of what my firm would say.
No debt/ pretty decent savings. What's the right play? Just not give a shit at work and concentrate on getting healthier? |

The thing is, you have to realize that people in Biglaw are defined by their interest in money. Other jobs, you can get by on other things, you can "alpha up" in other ways. In law? Nope. You have prestige/$. If you can't get your rocks off on these, ur gonna have a bad time. |
