The fact that you think the two are comparable in any way shows that you have done no research and are being reflexively contrarian. Sometimes people think that a stock is a giant pile of shit because the stock is a giant pile of shit, not because you're smarter than the whole world. |

There were serious questions about it's ability to continue as a going concern last year, but it seems stable for now.
Long-term, JCP is dead in the water. In-store traffic is declining, malls are declining, their online sales and traffic aren't growing, or aren't growing fast enough. |
