it's actually very easy to hear once u get it. the reason most drs cant detect a murmur is because they are dumb or too lazy to listen to the right areas. but I wouldn't be a cardiologist because it has nothing to do with diagnosing murmurs... or even reading echos or ekgs... it's all about "end of life care"

I don't mind "patient contact". as I said with enough practice I could use a stethoscope and echoes better than most. and visually I am much more presentable than most (I have a 6pack, know a lot of drs that do?). the problem is that I have no interest in writing any stupid notes on the topic of "patient refused blabla despite medical advice", "patient's insurance don't cover it", "discussed hospice care with pt". that has absolutely nothing to do with any treatment (which is drugs or cath).
