I seem to be doing all right except when I get a messed up rotation where they make me work >8hrs or a rotation where an attending is an ass. but >50% of the time it's very chill.. also in 4th year i'll have no shelves. but still if you're in a new city for only 1month and get a room off craigslist and all your belongings in the car, afraid there will not be much time to enjoy the city. i.e. go to a beach, get drunk, then don't have time to reflect on that.. unless I start "reflecting" in front of residents and asking them to rate my experiences with bitches. I said I didn't see that all I saw were the ugly old ones, and he continued to describe how she had "perky boobs" and "looked so hot passed out". and also briefly met an ortho resident there during trauma he was also cool. but I don't think i'll be taking any ortho electives, since you'll be really out of place among all those gunners. btw any recommendations for transitional years in CA, CO, WA? |
