He will not loan COL since he would be going part-time and working. Their LST score isn't good. The other choice is UMass for like 25-30k debt. I suggested he retake and go to Suffolk for free. His GPA doesn't allow him to attend somewhere like Boston University at better than sticker, even with a tremendous LSAT score, and I wouldn't suggest he do that either. But anyway, it seems like some Suffolk grads end up becoming paralegals and not jobs needing the JD degree. And tons don't obtain squat. At that point, I think UMass for negligible debt is the move here. I don't know how he could go there with their LST score though. It's shit.
