Oda Nobunaga, then the leading warlord in Japan, immediately recognized it as an extremely alpha sport and ordered all of his samurai to begin practicing athletics in the nude. Japanese naked bodybuilding went on to floruish in the Taisho era, only to be banned again when Japan fell under the influence of the notorious clothmo Axis powers. It would emerge again in after the war in a new, corporate-sponsored manner, but that is a story for later. |

For example, there is a small village near Mt. Fuji where each year the priests re-enact the battle between the god Susanowo and a great dragon. The ceremony clearly depicts lesser shinto kami coming up to Suanowo before the battle and firmly caressing his oversized, divine CUM CANNON - a clear stylized depiction of STIMMING. Also, the Kofun tombs that early Japanese emperors were buried in are most likely representations of well-trained phalluses, as would have been on display in the court at that time.
It's believed that Buddhist missionaries from China were the ones who first eradicated naked muscle sports in early medieval Japan. It's absent from the great literature of the Heian period. |
