For me, it was being a lawnmower. They get to work outside, get some exercise in, shoot the shit together in the shade during lunch and breaks. It's manual labor, but not that strenuous.

one summer i worked for a surveying company doing FUCKING surveys. I actually surveyed some slums in newark/harrison (the ones that got turned into the current 5 guys/parking garage)

I also surveyed some random houses in SPS jerz areas.

Best. Job. Ever.

Outside shooting the shit with dudes. Warm sun. Easy as fuk. Then go back to the office, upload all the data and crank out DAT AUTOCAD.

The only semi-hard part was this one time we surveyed a landfill. was a bit smelly. But that was still 179 (vs the standard 180).

Company has since gone out of business tho =(

i dream every single day about buying a used truck and a small fifth wheel trailer and just driving around the country camping and eating beans out of a can, my trusty hound beside me on my daily hikes.

i honestly cannot believe i became a lawyer with my life.

My dream was the Sandhog's Union. Hard work, but building tunnels and train stations seemed so alpha and meaningful compared to the biglaw paper bs I shat out 15hrs a day

See the problem with you fucks, and I say fucks not because I want to insult you but because you make me sad, is that you want a job.

You WANT to work for someone else?

Are you fucking stupid? Why? You were smart enough to be a lawyer and so you are defintely smart enough not to work for anyone but yourself.

Be a lawnmower? Nah, own the lawnmowers.

Be a trash collector? Nah, own the sanitation company.

Work as Mexican? Nah, own the restaurant.

The fuck are you guys thinking. Bunch of faggots who are too gifted and dont have the balls to hustle and make a $. The bum on the street has the right idea. He goes str8 up asks you for a dollar. He probably has more business sense than you. If only he had the scale, and could ask 1M at the sametime, oh, and wants a drug addict, he'd be rich.
