How long do you spend prepping for a deposition for an average witness? A 1-2 day trial?
Curious because I want to see how it stacks up to "overkill" in biglaw.

Average witness - 1 day before to shore up lines of questioning.
it certainly varies. for instance, i just had this idiot opposing counsel tell me she could not defend a deposition because it was 10 days before some shit state court trial. I said ok, let's move the deposition up a week. NOAP - STILL PREPPING.
This is the same woman, though, that sent me a letter on July 3 saying over the past 10 days she hasn't been able to contact her client due to "the 4th of July weekend"

5.7" cock
assuming they'll have the witness on the stand 2-3 hours i prep maybe 3-4 hrs (inc. going through all paper discovery i want to pwn them on after i catch them lying before busting out the exhibit folder) for a 2-3 hr repo (i don't do much background, and i jump around a lot because i don't want them getting on a fact fabrication role so they don't know what area i'm returning to and when).
