No-offered summers

I didn't talk to them all summer because I'm over it, but how the fuck did recruiting fuck up that bad that not 1 of the 4 summers was likeable enough to bring on board. Among other bizarre behavior, he apparently didn't show up for work for three days without telling anyone. When he came back and people asked where he had been, he said he was too busy to come to work because he was "cooking." Sometimes it's hard to tell how aspie a person really is after just a couple short interviews. If someone is so aspie that they will randomly decide not to come to work, there isn't really an alternative to cutting them loose.
