Break up over her history of casual sex?

She's hot, smart, loving, would be a great mom etc. BUT I am disgusted by her history of casual sex. It was basically her freshman year of college, she went into a rebellious phase and just jumped into bed with a series of guys (3 I think) without any commitment/love/whatever.
I come from a somewhat religious background, and while I wouldn't expect her to be a virgin, I'm somewhat conservative in thinking that sex should be in the context of a committed relationship. I guess this is a moral standard for me, and I'm fighting feelings of disgust that she would just give it away to "friends with benefits" types.
She seems to regret what she did, and she is objectively the best girl I've been with. Is it unreasonable for me to throw this relationship away because of this psychological hangup? How do I get over it?
EDIT: She subsequently had LTR which lasted a couple years. That doesn't bother me. Seems like a normal healthy sexually active relationship. Have no objections to that. |
