If you do mediocre work and bill ~2000 hours or even slightly less, they won't fire you until at least year 3 or 4. You can coast til then and just apply to other jobs. Lol at strivers. If you literally just 2001 hours and avoid being aspie, you are almost certainly going to be an average to above-average associate. At that point, you can last for 8+ years if you so choose.
Miss hours but come reasonably close without being an aspie, and you'll last 3 years EASILY. |

associate immediately told the partner who called me in for a sit down 2 days later. sneered at me and rambled about how it's not a 9-5 job and that it's not really acceptable to "have you going dark on holidays". was literally like a 30 minute meeting. he was also protecting the sr assoc's identity liek he was fucking 007. "wellll I wont name names but uve had some negative feetback recently..."
