If you do mediocre work and bill ~2000 hours or even slightly less, they won't fire you until at least year 3 or 4. You can coast til then and just apply to other jobs. Lol at strivers. It's like 30-50% ITE, depending on the firm. If you literally just 2001 hours and avoid being aspie, you are almost certainly going to be an average to above-average associate. At that point, you can last for 8+ years if you so choose.
Miss hours but come reasonably close without being an aspie, and you'll last 3 years EASILY. |

associate immediately told the partner who called me in for a sit down 2 days later. sneered at me and rambled about how it's not a 9-5 job and that it's not really acceptable to "have you going dark on holidays". was literally like a 30 minute meeting. he was also protecting the sr assoc's identity liek he was fucking 007. "wellll I wont name names but uve had some negative feetback recently..."

Date: August 19th, 2014 11:51 AM Author: federal ruby rehab internal respiration lol what a hellscape. the day after christmas, 2012, i got in an accident rushing to a coffee shop in 1 foot of snow in my dad's truck to run a redline of a partner's handmark. lost control on a completely ice/snow covered back road and spun out in a lady's front lawn. demolished a plastic garbage can - sent it hurdling like 30 yards across her yard. partner was literally emailing me asking where the fuck was his document while i explained to an old lady why i was the only person on the road during a blizzard and yes here is my card and i am happy 2 pay for any damage revealed to ur lawn once the snow melts.
