Will not engage further. The ultimate conclusion from all studies is that going solo is a horrible outcome. It's not the point of a legal education. Going solo means the system failed.
Malpractice insurance can be very expensive and does not protect you from everything. Clients will know if there have been reports against you, even if you "win" or settle or whatever.
Most solos I know make 20-30K a year. I think it makes more sense to intern for free for a slip n fall and then get a gig doing that.
This doesn't even begin to address that most people attend law school because they don't have other skills. The 3L with 3 years of being a student of law doesn't have the business savvy necessary.
