Almost any law job you could get out of school paying 100k+ will require more than 50 hours a week.

this is what i like about accounting

you can find some easy controller jobs that pay 120k+ in a major metro area and the hours are very reasonable...*maybe* 45 hours a week during month-end close

Well tbf, it probably takes 4 or 5 years in accounting before you're getting 120k+ in-house.

Mba. If you play your cards right, you'll have a $100k+ 40-50hr/wk job at graduation.

seems like this salary is pretty much the average outcome right out of school for a top 20 MBA program but not sure how sustainable these jobs are or if the employment statistics put out by MBA programs are legit.

If anything, total compensation is understated, because they don't include year-end bonus or other performance bonuses. Only base salary, signing bonus, and guaranteed bonus.

There is little reason to now. Except if you have a BA in english from a mediocre school and a 170+ LSAT, you can get into a top law school that gives you an 80% shot at biglaw, while you might not be able to get a good enough job to get into a top 15 MBA program 3-4 years down the road.
