Subject: Patent Bar Eligibility

Anyone used this site for getting patent bar eligible? www.patbarloophole.com. I don't have a STEM degree, but think it would make me more marketable.

Q. What if I am terrible at math?

A. There are certain FE Exams that are more or less math-intensive. We also guide you through the process recognizing that you don't need to score 100% on the FE Exam, but just need to pass. We focus on the subjects that are most easily accessible to non-technical students to allow you to focus on the areas where you can rack up points while avoiding areas that are going to take too long.

Lol, yeah, this will make you a devastatingly effective patent lawyer.

lol u mad bro..

no difference between poli sci major and EE major when it comes to deep submicron lithography patents bro.

EE is just a vocational degree. they lack the creative thinking required for novel patents subject matter outside of basic circuits. a poli sci major can more quickly grasp the benefit to society as a whole

Creative thinking is useful for some types of patents, particularly very soft software patents. But nobody is going to hire somebody without a tech degree to be a patent lawyer, regardless of your abilities.

What about some second or third tier markets at midling firms? They must be starving for dudes that can legally file a patent or have an extra cred to litigate one.

Not really. There are lots of unemployed patent lawyers, even EE's. You still need a respectable tech background (mostly for pros) and/or a solid law school (for lit).
