Do any of you know whether the NGR repays law school loans? Also what are the realistic chances I actually would be deployed oversees. I really do not want to go into combat and just want to respond to state and national disasters,

I sent in my app back in May and I'm STILL waiting to hear back from my State's NGB.
Everyone I spoke to said they were still able to maintain their private practice.
However, solos had it harder than those in firms with partners who could pick up the slack for them during drill or deployment.
In re: Deployment.
You are competing against Active Duty JAGs who want to get deployment on their record for promotion. Good luck with all of that. |

When you applied did you ask if the GI bill is retroactive? I already graduated and work so I just want this to pay back some of my loans plus just getting out of this boring routine. I always wanted to join but didn't want to put my education on hold.
Also I have no interest in doing JAG. I want to join to do something other than law |
