1. there are a significant number of students at M7 schools sponsored by their employers and will return afterward. IE they're not hunting for IBD.

2. With law, it's basically biglaw or bust. with m7 there are many careers that could potentially pay the same as IBD. So it's not like its IBD or bust the same way law is biglaw of bust.

Depends on what you consider IBD and what you consider BigLaw.

It's definitely easier to get NLJ 250 from Columbia than it is to get BB IBD from MIT Sloan with no prior finance experience.
