I only know BLBG in NY. Competent lawyers in the top tier of sec lit p firms. I did not even realize they had a SD office though. |

A clerk friend called me about an opening in SD for next year. If I understand the fed. pay scale, they'd almost match what I make now, and I'd get to live in SD. Only problem is I'd leave the clerkship as a 5th year. Would I be employable? Would SD biglaw want 2d Cir -> SF midlaw -> USDC SDCA?
