You have to lift packages that weigh up to 80 pounds by yourself for 8 hours. You're supposed to get help on heavier items but usually everyone is so busy that you just end up doing it yourself. You have no idea the kind of shit that comes down the chute to be loaded. I've seen tractor tires that are 5 feet tall, crates of books, furniture, batting cage assemblies, etc. The only thing easier about this kind of work is not being in the direct sunlight, but even on days when it's 75 degrees out it's 90+ in the trucks.
